• Free AoC TeamSpeak Info

        I know plenty of guilds have their own voice servers, but I haven't seen a voice server offered to the general public playerbase. I figure if such an option existed it could help players better organize and coordinate groups. With that in mind, I've set up a TeamSpeak Server for AoC players.

        This server *** IS NOT *** Ascendant's TeamSpeak server. It's a server completely dedicated for the AoC community at large. There are no charges or fees, totally free of charge. Hopefully you all find this useful.

        Without further delay, you can get setup for TeamSpeak by going to:

        http://www.teamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads

        and download the appropriate *** CLIENT (not the "Updated Executable") *** for your operating system. Once you download the program, the install is pretty simple.

        Once you have that done, follow the instructions below. Again, pretty simple.

        The following is a click by click walkthrough of how to log into TeamSpeak.Open your TeamSpeak Client.
        - Click "Connection"
        - Click "Connect"
        - Click "Local Addressbook"
        - Right Click "Servers"
        - Click "Add Server"
        - Enter "AoC Public" as the server name

        At this point you will see a panel on the right-hand side of the TeamSpeak client with prompts for various data. Fill out the boxes as follows:
        - Label: AoC Public
        - Server Address: ts.4-playerz.com:3420
        - Nickname: (Your character name)
        - Allow Server to Assign Nickname: Make sure this is NOT checked off - blank box
        - Check off the circle next to "Anonymous"; "Registered" should remain unchecked
        - Server Password: publicvoice

        Everything after Server Password is left blank
